Getting Lost in the Chile Sauce

 wassup yall!!!😁

i finally found time to write about my trip (and escape) to chile :)))))) apparently destroying the panama canal and forcing people to pay a toll is considered "criminal behavior" ughhhhh. luckily i had a plane ticket (snuck onto a spirit flight) to chile so i could claim asylum!

isnt it great how things work out like that?!?!?

now this time around im here to have fun (cause i dont have a millenia long grudge against chile)😻😻😻😻

now i find chile really interesting. its the closest country to antarctica, AND is the southernmost country in the WORLD😱 its also home to the andes mountain range, and those candies are good!!! its suuuuperrrrr skinny (like me hehe) and still manages to have a population of almost 19 MILLION😲😁😮now because i was an "international terrorist on the run," i landed in santiago. being the nations capital, its quite large. nestled in the santiago basin, the city is surrounded by the glorious (and delicious) andes, leaving a stunning (and scrumptious) view at all times.

omg its easily one of the cities ive ever been to!!! anyways in this gorgeous city of santiago i decided to hit up the chilean museum of pre-columbian art ooooooooooooooooo im so cool and artsy hehehehe. anyways this museum always brings back memories, cause like i remember when these things were being made like omg im getting so oldddddddd😭😭😭 the museum itself opened in 1981, however the building it is set in was the palacia de la real aduana, and that was completed in 1807. and omg the palace is just as gorgeous as it was all those years ago. there are over 3,000 pieces in the museum from over 100 different cultures!!!!!!!!! i would take a picture butttttt i think i left my phone in panama? im not sure lol ill prolly just get another one.

anyways i spent around 6 to 12 hours in the museum (i got very lost and they had to escort me out), so i headed down to the hotel im staying at. honestly its fineee, like ive stayed in better. its called the hotel magnolia in downtown santiago and i mean its like a 6/10 at best 😒

this was my room, it was meh. it was only $263 dollars for the night so like it wasnt even that expensive. which is a bummer lol i only buy expensive stuff. also they had this stupid tea party thing, it was alright.

see? like it was just fine. after this disappointing hotel stay i decided to spice things up. so i climbed the andes!!! the only thing was that any time i tried talking to the locals they didnt understand me??? like all the words i screamed at them just went in one ear and out the other. rude. (ok so apparently chiles national language is the chilean dialect of spanish so oopsies my bad)

since no one could understand what i was saying, i decided to head up the mountain myself! i got to around 1,000 feet in 2 hours, and the view was stellar😍😍 that view from earlier??? i took it hehe (i stole some random locals phone to take it). after that little photo op i scampered up to the top of the andes surrounding santiago. it only took around 30 minutes this time cause i was a bit hungry and the minty mountaintops were calling my name. once i got up there, i found the juciest piece of mountain and took a bite.

the anger and shock i felt in knowing that the andes mountains were not made out of andes candies was immense😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 i couldnt let this slide. so i made some rocks slide down the mountain instead😁

chile, you were lovely but i gotta go!

baiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!

Left at the Gibr-Altar

hey guyzzz im backkkkk!!!!!!!!! after my lovely trip to lagos (the police hate me tho👿), i set my sights on a geographical marvel. ITS THE STRAIT OF GIBRALTAR BABY! now this bad boy is that part of the map between the iberian peninsula (spain and portugal) and northern africa where the two continents almostttttttttttttttttttttt touch. its like theyre kissing hehehe. the only thing separating these two GIANT landmasses is a skinny little 8 mile wide strait of water. this shit is the gateway to the mediterranean sea, almost like the esophagus of the ocean.  however before i graced the strait of gibraltar with my presence, i touched down in tangier morocco. now tangier is moroccos fourth largest city with just under 1 million people. its a stunning coastal city nicknamed the blue and white city. i dont know why its named that but i mean its cute.  my first mission in tangier was to visit a catholic cathedral, because turns out tangier has christian and jewish heritage. ho...
