Left at the Gibr-Altar

hey guyzzz im backkkkk!!!!!!!!! after my lovely trip to lagos (the police hate me tho👿), i set my sights on a geographical marvel. ITS THE STRAIT OF GIBRALTAR BABY! now this bad boy is that part of the map between the iberian peninsula (spain and portugal) and northern africa where the two continents almostttttttttttttttttttttt touch. its like theyre kissing hehehe. the only thing separating these two GIANT landmasses is a skinny little 8 mile wide strait of water. this shit is the gateway to the mediterranean sea, almost like the esophagus of the ocean.

however before i graced the strait of gibraltar with my presence, i touched down in tangier morocco. now tangier is moroccos fourth largest city with just under 1 million people. its a stunning coastal city nicknamed the blue and white city. i dont know why its named that but i mean its cute.

my first mission in tangier was to visit a catholic cathedral, because turns out tangier has christian and jewish heritage. however it has been under muslim influence for many years. ISNT THAT AWESOME??? anyways i decided to visit aptly named catholic cathedral of tangier first, and honestly it was fine. i did burn it down cause it was ugly but id rate my experience 2.5 stars on yelp. this next stop was one i had been looking forward to for years because its the supposed tomb of IBN BATTUTA!!! now i couldnt actually find it but i did search the city for around 48 hours. who knows i couldve missed it. my final pit stop in tangier was kasbah palace. much like back in chile, this palace was also repurposed into a museum!!! they had lovely pieces of artwork and knickknacks from all over the country! it was a pretty small palace ngl, like my beautiful panama estate is MUCH bigger. but it was cute😊

FINALLY it was time for me to head to my beloved, my strait of gibraltar😍😍😍😍 i stole some civilians car cause they didnt tell me no (though i think they didnt speak english) and went double the speed limit until i got right up to the water. everything was just perfect😇😇😇 i then drove off into the ocean to join my marine brethren💕

sup yalllll!!!!✌✌ im back! anyways after my little excursion to calgary i decided to hop skip and jump on over to panama. it is the country that bridges north and south america, so i just HAD to visit. obviiiii! panama itself is pretty small, theres only one main metropolitan area. its panama city, which is also the capital and home to like almost half of the four million that makes up panamas population. kinda cringe ngl. jkkkkkkk i would never make fun of a country. at least not like that. i remember when i was invited to panama citys opening day wayyyyy back when lolz. i was sooo excited to go but then a few days before ltrly got smallpox 😠smallpox suxxxxxxxx😭😭😭 thankfully i got to go during its first few months of existing hehe😙 my first stop was casco viejo, aka the old part of the city. walking those aged streets reallllly brought me back to the good party days.  aint she prettyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!! now the reason why i came to visit casco viejo was cause of the plaza bolivar.
