Resurrecting the Mongol Army

what would you say if i told you i resurrected the mongol empireπŸ˜– now to backtrack to the beginning of my mongolia excursion. i landed in ulaanbaatar, the capital and largest city. now this city has quite the history. there have been people living in the area for over 300,000 years, which doesnt sound real to me but i digress. like thats paleolithic era type shit. anyways the city itself has around 1.6 million people, while the second most populous city (erdenet) only has around 100,000 people which also doesnt sound real (cause mongolia isnt a country). its also 4,000 feet above sea level!!!!!! like WHAT??? anwyays when i was snoozing on the flight from nauru to ulaanbaatar, i got a troubling vision from the shadow man. he told me to find three ancient tablets scattered throughout the country. so of course i said yes!😍😍😍 so the first tablet was located by the genghis khan horse statue. now this statue is located around 30 miles east of ulaanbaatar, and is on the bank of the tuul

(Insert Pun About Oceania Here)

alright everyone, i have an announcement to make. OCEANIA WORLD TOURRRRRRRRRRRRR😎😎😎😎😎😎 first stop? NEW ZEALAND, land of the sheep, hobbits, and something else probably. anyways speaking of sheep, new zealand has a lot of them. like there are 5 sheep for every 1 person. kinda weird if you ask me. ANYWAYS some more info about new zealand. while there are 2 main islands that everyone knows about, there are over 700 teeeeeeeeny tiiiinyyy islands in this country as well. while similar to australia in terms of accent, they are VERY DIFFERENT, or so ive been told.  i decided to visit the north island because even though its smaller, it is the more populous one. its home to both auckland and wellington, the largest and capital cities. i had no idea that new zealand even had a capital, let alone it being wellington. so therefore i went to auckie, thats my new nickname for it. now auckie itself might be the largest city in new zealand, but its the 5th largest in all of oceania. its got a

Left at the Gibr-Altar

hey guyzzz im backkkkk!!!!!!!!! after my lovely trip to lagos (the police hate me thoπŸ‘Ώ), i set my sights on a geographical marvel. ITS THE STRAIT OF GIBRALTAR BABY! now this bad boy is that part of the map between the iberian peninsula (spain and portugal) and northern africa where the two continents almostttttttttttttttttttttt touch. its like theyre kissing hehehe. the only thing separating these two GIANT landmasses is a skinny little 8 mile wide strait of water. this shit is the gateway to the mediterranean sea, almost like the esophagus of the ocean.  however before i graced the strait of gibraltar with my presence, i touched down in tangier morocco. now tangier is moroccos fourth largest city with just under 1 million people. its a stunning coastal city nicknamed the blue and white city. i dont know why its named that but i mean its cute.  my first mission in tangier was to visit a catholic cathedral, because turns out tangier has christian and jewish heritage. however it has b

Lagos EXPOSED!!!!!!!

WELCOME BACK YALLLLL after my beautiful luxurious trip to tanzania, i decided to pack up and cross country hike a few thousand (around 3.5k) miles over to a city ive heard so much about!!😁lagos is nigerias as well as africas most populous city with over 24 MILLION people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! much like dar es salaam, it is also a former capital, with nigeria moving it to abuja in 1991. its nigerias primary economic hub too which means a lot to me cause money=cool😎😎😎 now i made it into the city at around 3 am, so i grabbed a room at the radisson blu ikeja hotel. it was an executive room which ran me a cool 387 buckaroos.  now this room was niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. it came with a minibar, in-room space, iron AND ironing board (all of which i stole 😝). also i managed to leave with several desks, a treadmill and stationary bike, and the front desk assistant cheryl (she says hi). i left at around 9 am after chowing down on that free breakfast and slid into my first destination. that d

KilamanjarOh-No!

hi guyz chile kicked me out 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 omg stop guys im literally cryinggggggggggggggg anyways they gave me 6 hours to get all my things and leave the continent so i packed my bags and flew to tanzania. now why did i choose tanzania? cause its baller!!! i was doing research on countries to travel to and i saw that it was a part of the african great lakes region????? IM FROM THE AMERICAN GREAT LAKES REGION!!! and it turns out that while our great lakes were formed by glaciers scouring the land, the african great lakes were formed by a convergent boundary between the nubian and somali plates (which in and of itself were once the african plate)!!!!!! also these plates moving apart is whats forming the african rift valley, which grows isnt that cool as hell???. turns out that my FAV mountain is also here! im literally the president of the mount kilamanjaro fan club!  so i landed in julius nyerere international airport, which is the main aiport of dar es salaam, tanzanias largest
